FAQ:

What exactly is a Mystery Shopper?

If you said, "It's a person who gets paid to secretly shop at selected establishments, to spy on them" .. you are half right.  Actually, as a Mystery Shopper, you will be hired by concerned companies who pay you to shop in their stores (or use their services), in return for an unbiased evaluation of their business and customer service.

And the best part is ... you can "take or leave" assignments as you see fit, and you work full or part-time.

Is it easy to become a Mystery Shopper!

Becoming a mystery shopper is quite simple. We provide the full guide, sample forms and resumes, and most importantly a huge list of companies that are hiring.

All you have to do is register with the companies that hire Mystery Shoppers, then sit back and wait for your phone to ring, or watch your emails for your assignments.

How do I get paid?

Payment terms vary from employer to employer. While some pay by the hour others pay by task. You can earn $10, $20, and even $40 for doing what you usually do for free! Depending on how much you work, you could make as much as $2000 a month part-time as a paid shopper. It is important to note that even mileage is reimbursed in some cases in addition to commissions and cost of purchases.  Most companies will pay you by check (some by direct deposit).

Since you will be working as an independent contractor no income taxes will be deducted from your payments, you are responsible for declaring your income and paying income taxes (this is a great advantage because you can deduct various expenses including the costs of this guide, you will learn all about this in the guide).

Do you assign stores? How does it work?

We do not assign stores Instead you assign yourself, based on the assignments you choose.

Can I take others along with me to a restaurant or hotel?

Yes, as long as you adhere to the directions emailed to you. But in most cases you can take along your family or friends. This is a great way for moms to make extra money and still spend time with the kids.

Will my reimbursement amount always cover the cost of my visit?

All reimbursements are done through the companies you work with for. They will issue you the rules and regulations when you commence your assignments. Therefore, you will be briefed on what reimbursements you will receive.

Do I have to be web-enabled?

Yes. Basically you just need to be contactable via email.

What about Dress Codes?

Certain companies might require you to wear “appropriate” dress codes, but all will be determined by the assignment you are assigned to complete.
